Reserve a Study Room

Please note: The Burbank Book Festival is coming to Buena Vista Branch Library on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! Because the Festival will take place throughout the library, some regular services will be unavailable at this location, including study room reservations.

What do I need to reserve a study room?

  • You need a library card in good standing.
  • You need to be 10 or older to reserve a study room.
  • Not sure about your card? Ask a staff member! We can check for you or help you get a free library card.

What’s Changing with Reservations

  • Reservations will be made available only online through the Library’s website: burbanklibrary.org.
  • You can book online up to 7 days in advance.
  • You can make up to 3 reservations per week.
  • Rooms can only be booked at the top of the hour or half-hour (like 10:00 or 10:30).
  • Use is limited to 2 hours per person or per group each day (not per person in a group) at all locations. You may divide a two-hour session into multiple shorter sessions, but each session counts toward your total weekly reservation limit.

The Job Connect Room, located at Burbank Central Library, is only for job seekers using the Library’s Job Connect services. Reservations can now be made online, just like other study rooms, but staff approval is required to make sure the room is used for job-related activities.
