Job Connect is a self-service job resource center available at the Library. It is a satellite office of the Verdugo Jobs Center (VJC) which is part of the Department of Labor America’s Job Center.

A Library card is not required to use Job Connect resources, but we encourage you to get one to access our whole suite of services and learning materials.

Visit any Burbank Public Library location to:

  • Access high speed wifi or use a public computer to search for a job or use Microsoft Office.
  • Print or photocopy your resume, cover letter or job listings. Up to 10 pages of job-related material may be printed for free per day. Staff will review eligibility for free printing.
  • Find books and DVDs on subjects including career paths, practice tests and technical information. Search the Library catalog using terms such as career, job interview, resume writing or business plan. For eBooks, use the same search terms within Libby or hoopla.
  • Take a certified typing test to qualify for employment.
  • Visit any Burbank Public Library location to review a binder of job postings if you prefer not to search online. Ask at the Information Services Desk for access.
