Home Borrowers Program

Reading at home

If you are a Burbank resident and are unable to come to the library, let the Burbank Public Library come to you! Each homebound person is matched with a volunteer, who will deliver library materials every four weeks on a day and time agreed upon.

Rules

  1. Available materials include large print, hardcover, paperback books, books on CD and music CDs, as well as Braille Institute digital cassettes.
  2. The Home Borrowers Coordinator will choose reading materials according to the interests and needs of the borrower. Requests will be filled depending on the availability of material.
  3. There will be no fines for overdue items.
  4. The borrower is responsible for lost materials and must pay for cost of replacement.
